BLS CPR courses for the Healthcare
Professional.
BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers:     Course Cost $90
A 4 hour course designed for the Healthcare Professional who responds to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. The course offers guidelines in one and two person rescuer- adult, child and infant CPR, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction, and the AED. Cost includes: textbook, Patho-Sheild Plus key chain, course completion card and exams.

BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers Refresher:

Heartsaver CPR Adult/Pediatric Course:    Course Cost $65
A 2 ½ to 4 hour course designed to teach the lay rescuers (personal trainers, security guards, etc.) how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, whose job requires a course completion card documenting one rescuer adult and/or pediatric CPR, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction. Cost includes: textbook, Patho-Sheild Plus key chain, course completion card and exams.

Heartsaver First Aid Course:  
Course Cost $85
A 4 to 8 hour course designed for the general public or lay rescuers whose job requires a first aid course completion card. The course provides the skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes following an emergency until the arrival of emergency service personnel. Depending on which modules the candidate wished to take, the basic first aid course consists of General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Other modules that are included are CPR, AED, and/or Environmental Emergencies. Cost includes: textbook, practical skills, exam and course completion card.

Family and Friends Courses
Courses designed for the general public. Non-certification courses.
CPR for Family and Friends: Adult or Pediatric Course :
A 2 to 2 ½ hour entry level awareness program designed for the general public, new mom’s and dad’s, babysitters, etc. The course covers AHA guidelines for the one rescuer adult or pediatric CPR and relief of Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction, chain of survival, and recognizing the signs of heart attack and stroke. Cost includes: textbook and Patho-Sheild Plus key chain.



CPR for Family and Friends Combination Course :    
Course Cost $45
A 2 1/2 to 3 hour entry level awareness program designed for the general public, parents, babysitters, grandparents, churches, clubs, etc. The course covers AHA guidelines for the one rescuer adult and pediatric CPR and relief of Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction, the chain of survival, basic First Aid, and recognizing the signs of heart attack and stroke. Cost includes: textbook and Patho-Sheild Plus key chain.

Instructor Courses
BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers Instructor Course:  Cost $400
This is a 16 to 20 hour course, for those who wish to become instructors, to teach all levels of American Heart Association CPR. Course requirements: complete and approved AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Course scoring a 90% or better on the written exam, complete a skills practical station, and get a letter of recommendation from your CPR Instructor. Cost includes: textbooks, written and practical exams, and Instructor course completion card.

Heartsaver CPR Instructor Course:   Cost $300

This is an 8 to 10 hour course designed for the lay person who would like to teach the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED, CPR for Schools, and CPR for Family and Friends courses. Course requirements: complete an AHA Heatsaver CPR/AED course scoring a 90% or better on your written exam, complete the skills practical station, and get a letter of recommendation from your CPR Instructor.
