Medic First Aid: Pediatric 6.0 Course (Daycare Providers):
Course Cost $70
An 8 hour course that includes specific First Aid and Prevention Topics and one-rescuer adult and pediatric CPR and Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction. For Daycare Providers, Home Care Providers, and Babysitters only. This course meets all State of Connecticut requirements. We are certified with the State of Connecticut to teach this course to Daycare Providers. Cost includes: textbook, Patho-Shield Plus key chain, exam, and course completion cards for both CPR and First Aid portions.

Medic First Aid: Pediatric Course (Babysitting):
Course Cost $70
An 8 hour course that includes specific First Aid and Prevention Topics and one-rescuer adult and pediatric CPR and Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction and other babysitting related topics. This course is designed for those students from the ages of about 11- 17 years who plan to baby-sit. Cost includes: textbook, lunch, practical and written exams, Patho-Shield Plus key chain, and course completion cards.

A 4 hour course designed to teach lay rescuers to provide emergency care first aid in an occupational setting. Provides ideal solution for training individuals on how to respond to a medical emergency in the workplace. Topics include: recognizing a medical emergency, overcoming hesitation, identifying hazards, ensuring personal safety, activating EMS, providing basic first aid care for ill/injured patient. Cost Includes: Textbook, practical skills, and course completion card.

Medic First Aid: Basic CPR and First Aid 6.0 Course:
Course Cost $70
A 6 hour course designed for the lay rescuer in the occupational setting who may be expected to provide care until professional help arrives. Also the perfect course for those looking to get their Captains license. The course follows current medical and educational guidelines and meets federal and state OSHA regulatory requirements in Adult/Child CPR and First Aid. Cost Includes: textbook, Patho-Shield Key Chain Plus, practical skills, and course completion card.

Medic First Aid: Blood Borne Pathogens Course:

This is a one hour class designed for those personnel who need to be certified in annual blood borne pathogen training. This meets OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030 guidelines. Cost includes: textbook and course completion card.

Medication Administration Training Program for Childcare Providers:
Course Cost $35
A 2 hour course designed to give Childcare providers basic information on the steps involved in the administration of medications to children. This course meets all State of Connecticut General Statutes for Daycares and Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.

Epi-Pen Training Refresher Course:

A one hour recertification course designed to meet the renewal requirements for the Medication Administration course as prescribed by the State of Connecticut.
