Service Description

This 2.5-hour course is designed to meet all State of Connecticut regulations for daycare providers, offering comprehensive training on medication administration and emergency response to severe allergic reactions. Participants will learn the purpose of medications, their responsibilities alongside parents, guardians, and healthcare professionals, and how to establish and follow proper policies and procedures. The course also covers the safe use of EpiPens or other epinephrine auto-injectors to recognize and respond to anaphylaxis. It is ideal for daycare providers, educators, parents, caregivers, healthcare workers, and others who may assist during a medical emergency.
